Thinking about breeding your goats or preparing for kidding season? “You've Goat to be Kidding” is a practical, full-day course designed to give goat owners the knowledge and confidence to successfully manage breeding, pregnancy and kidding. Whether you have a few hobby goats or are developing a small herd, this course will walk you through the entire process — from selecting breeding animals through to caring for newborn kids. We’ll also cover the basics of milking and managing does after kidding. This relaxed, informative day combines practical knowledge, demonstrations and plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Please wear clean closed in shoes, clothes that can get dirty but have not been touching other livestock since washed, a hat, water bottle and a keen to learn attitude.
