Service Description

Discover the world of goat farming with our hands on Beginners Goat Course at Little Things Farm. Learn essential skills such as feeding and nutrition, fencing and housing, healthcare and husbandry, and much more. This comprehensive course is perfect for those new to goat farming, providing you with all the knowledge you need to get started. The Day will start with morning tea, on your arrival, followed by theory and activity based learning covering topics provided in our work book such as feeding, nutrition, parasite and health care. After a scrumptious lunch, in the Little Things Farm Picnic Area, we will head out into the paddocks for practical hands on learning with the goats. To end the day we will head back to the Farm Shop learning area for a drink and a Q and A session - so get those questions ready. All food and drinks are included. Maximum 8 Participants $120 Per Person/ 2nd Family Member $100- if booked on the same booking. Please wear clean closed in shoes, clothes that can get dirty but have not been touching other livestock since washed, a hat, water bottle and a keen to learn attitude.

* Tickets are fully refundable up to 7 days before the booking date and time * Tickets are transferable or 50% refundable up to 3 days before the booking date and time * Tickets are not transferable or refundable within 3 days of the booking date and time, unless due to compliance with COVID-19 public health orders or due to other exceptional circumstances, at the discretion of Little Things Farm and partnering companies. * Full refund will be given if Little Things Farm must cancel a booking for any reason.
